This contract position is for the current school year, providing valuable assistance in a dynamic learning environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activitiesSupport individual and small group student learning, adapting instruction as neededHelp maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environmentPrepare instructional materials and organize classroom resourcesMonitor student behavior and provide feedback to teachersCollaborate with educators and staff to support student development and achievementQualifications and Desired Experience:Experience working as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role within K-12 settingsAbility to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parentsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsPatience, flexibility, and commitment to fostering student successFamiliarity with instructional strategies and accommodations for diverse learners is preferredRelevant certification or training as required by state educational standardsLocation:Long Beach, California, serving K-12 studentsThis contract role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student growth and learning in a supportive school environment.
