Paraspecialist (up to2 positions) NeededLocation: Williston Central SchoolWilliston Schools seektwo full-time energeticparaspecialists to join our special education team is seeking one individual to support our elementary school students and one individual to support our middle school students. We are looking for skilled caring individuals to provide intensive support in the areas of multi-layered curriculum or curriculum overlapping communication behavior and activities of daily living across school settings. Candidates will be an advocate of inclusive education problem-solver and strong collaborator and a positive team member. Ability to promote child growth and foster independence and a willingness to learn are essential.Candidates will work under the supervision of a professional to:Direct adjust or develop elements of student instructional and behavioral planFoster independence so that student can fully participate in school activitiesCollect maintain and interpret dataIntegrate instructional behavioral and communication interventions into the classroomIdeal candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills an understanding of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and demonstrate the ability to build relationships and rapport with students and school teams. The hourly range for a paraspecialist is $28.62 - $30.53 based on education and experience.
