Makes decisions related to parking enforcement based on the application of policies procedures and established standards.Enforces parking regulations; issues citations; responds to questions complaints emergencies; operates computer tablets citation software and two-way radios; works impoundment of vehicles when necessary. May substitute as dispatcher operating radio equipment gate access system and performing clerical functions. Assists with emptying parking meters and pay stations. Works special events including controlling lot access based on special guest lists placing or moving cones/barricades.Works home football games securing lots and selling spaces etc. Monitors parking lots and garages and runs errands in departmental vehicle.Uses established safety practices to protect health and safety of personnel and property.Performs all other duties as assigned.
