DescriptionThe Parking Technician is responsible for safely operating UTC Parking enforcement software hardware and vehicle immobilization per UTC parking policy.ResponsibilitiesOperation of Enforcement Software Hardware and Vehicle ImmobilizationIssues citations to vehicles in violation of UTC Parking regulationsOperates parking enforcement software and hardwareApplies immobilization devices in accordance with UTC parking policyBackup Operator of Enforcement VehiclesEnsures safety of assigned equipment passengers and pedestriansEnsures parking enforcement vehicle and equipment is in working order and reports any issuesEnsures parking enforcement vehicle is fully stocked with all necessary suppliesAdditional Duties as AssignedConducts lot utilization counts when assignedPerforms additional duties as assignedThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Knowledge of parking enforcement policies and proceduresSkilled in a fast-paced technology-driven environmentSkilled in operating an automobileSkilled in operating parking enforcement softwareAbility to communicate with other parking personnelAbility to train and correct other parking personnelThe review of applications will begin August 11 2025and will continue until the position is filled.QualificationsMinimum: Requires a high school diploma and six months of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
