Consider applying with us today!Job Summary The Department of History, Geography, and Philosophy at Columbus State University is currently seeking a federal work study student to work in an academic office.The position requires on-site work and does not offer remote options. Responsibilities The primary responsibilities would be answering phone, helping visitors, mail distribution, signing for incoming packages, photocopying and scanning, creating and posting flyers, stocking ordered supplies, or assisting faculty or staff on other general tasks.Required Qualifications Office related work experience helpful but not required, interpersonal and communication skills, computer skills (Excel, Word, email communication), ability to carry out tasks in a timely manner with minimal corrections, reliable and be able to balance academics and extra-curricular with work schedule; and maintain student/faculty/staff confidentiality.This position is open exclusively to students who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS). Proposed Salary $8.25. Approximately 15-19 hours per week depending on salary range. Flexible depending on class schedule during business hours.
