Job Title: Part-Time Assistant Coordinator, Continuing Education Location: Kendall Campus Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 1008711 Job Details Job FamilySTAFF - Support StaffGradeHISalary$17.40 Flat RateDepartmentContinuing Education and Professional DevelopmentReports ToProgram ManagerClosing DateOpen Until FilledFLSA StatusNon-ExemptFirst Review DateSeptember 5, 2025Position Overview The Part-Time Assistant Coordinator provides general support to the Continuing Education and Professional Development Program.What you will be doing Assists with the development of the class scheduleEnsures the accuracy of course information in MDConnectResearches and resolves student complaintsResolves instructor paperwork and payroll problemsMonitors the administration of course and instructor evaluationsOversees workflow of Part-time Program AssistantsInterviews and trains new part-timers, including student assistantsMeets with Campus and Continuing Education Departments to create mechanisms and systems to improve document flowOversees point assignments for instructional payroll; monitoring instructor point capsMonitors training contracts, rentals and leasesActs in place of the Program Manager or Coordinator in his/her absencePerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience with a proven track record in working as part of a team; or Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution - or - ( equivalent credits ) 60 credits from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of related experience with a proven track record inworking as part of a teamAll degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionWorking computer knowledge and literacy in Microsoft Office and database applicationsPossess highly organized and detail-oriented skillsKnowledge or ability to quickly learn College systems and proceduresThorough knowledge of College and Continuing Education programs and proceduresAbility to assess and resolve problems with students and instructorsAbility to promote team relationships within the department utilizing supervisory skillsAbility to monitor long-term projects such as leases and contractsAbility to project a positive image of the College and its programsPossess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staffAdditional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
