Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage essential financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. This position requires proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong ability to reconcile accounts effectively. The role is roughly 20 hours a week Responsibilities:• Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions into QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.• Manage account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate and updated records.• Monitor and verify financial data for consistency and reliability.• Collaborate with other team members to address any financial discrepancies or issues.• Generate financial reports as required to support business operations.• Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies.• Provide support for audits and financial reviews as needed.• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
