The instructor will educate adult learners on topics promoting health, wellness, and preventive care.What you will be doing Teaches non-credit courses in healthcare, allied health, and wellnessPrepares adult learners for entry-level positions or further study in the health professionsDesigns and conducts courses on various health and wellness topicsProvides evidence-based information and practical strategies for healthy livingEngages students through interactive discussions and activitiesAssesses student knowledge and provide feedback to support their learning goalsMaintains accurate records of attendance and participationDesigns and delivers instruction in health-related topics aligned with wellness and public healthPrepares students for certification or career entry where applicableMaintains compliance with professional and regulatory standardsUtilizes case studies and real-world examples in instructionAssesses student learning using practical and theoretical assessmentsCollaborates with coordinators to ensure curriculum alignmentMaintains records of student attendance and outcomesProvides support to diverse learners in healthcare career tracksIncorporates digital tools to enhance health educationParticipates in training and updates related to healthcare policy and practicePerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Nutrition, or related fieldRelevant professional experience in healthcare or wellnessValid professional licensure or certification required for regulated professions (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Counseling)Knowledge of health sciences, public health, and/or allied health practicesUnderstanding of adult learner needs in healthcare trainingAbility to deliver hands-on instruction and simulate healthcare scenariosKnowledge of health regulations and best practicesStrong organizational and instructional planning skillsAbility to support students preparing for licensure or certificationClear written and verbal communication in a healthcare contextSkill in assessing both practical and knowledge-based outcomesCommitment to wellness, prevention, and inclusive care educationCapacity to support learners new to digital environmentsPreferences Master’s degree preferred.Additional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
