Part-Time Custodial Technician at Torrance Casting

The Custodial Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and well-kept facility both inside and out. This position performs a variety of janitorial maintenance and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the property is presentable and in good working order. The Custodial Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and works closely with other team members to support daily operations and upkeep.Facility Cleaning & MaintenanceClean and sanitize restrooms breakrooms and other common areasSweep mop vacuum and dust floors furniture and fixturesEmpty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as neededClean windows glass doors and mirrorsRefill soap paper towel and restroom suppliesReport maintenance needs (e.g. lighting plumbing etc.)Building SupportSet up and tear down for meetings events or special projectsNotify appropriate personnel on low inventory counts of cleaning supplies and equipmentEnsure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and storedFollow safety and sanitation procedures at all timesOutdoor & Grounds MaintenanceTrim bushes edge sidewalks and maintain flower bedsRemove weeds leaves and debris from walkways and parking areasShovel snow spread salt and maintain safe outdoor walkways during winterAssist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting or mulchingMaintain exterior cleanliness of buildings entrances and windowsGeneralSupport a clean safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitorsAdhere to all company policies safety guidelines and environmental standardsShift: Monday-Friday 1st or 2nd shift availability.
