Part-time Custodian at Pine Lake Preparatory

Pine Lake Preparatoryis seeking a part-time Custodian to join our Operations team. This is a day-time position with hours to be determined. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Service clean and supply restroomsClean offices classrooms and common areas of buildingsClean building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuumingGather and empty trashAssist in project cleaning which includes lifting and removing furniture from roomsAssist with outside cleaning including sweeping sidewalks and picking up trashOperate various types of equipment and machinery including wet vacuums hand trucks carpet extractors floor buffers automatic scrubbers etc.Accepts other duties as may be assigned related to the scope of the jobThis position requires standing walking reaching bending and lifting up to 10-50 pounds. Candidate must: 1) be able to work well with others 2) be able to respond positively to supervision and suggestions for improvement 3) be able to work independently with minimal supervision and 4) have the ability to represent the school positively at various public functions on campus. Candidates must provide their own transportation to and from work.One year of janitorial experience and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
