We are seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to inspire our children through the joy of music.Job Description:We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering fun engaging and developmentally appropriate music lessons to children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years. The teacher will visit once a week for 2-3 hours to introduce children to music through singing movement instruments and creative activities.Key Responsibilities:Plan and lead weekly music sessions that are age-appropriate and engaging for young children.Introduce children to basic music concepts including rhythm melody and tempo in a playful and interactive way.Incorporate a variety of instruments and musical styles to expose children to diverse sounds and rhythms.Encourage participation and creativity fostering a love for music in each child.Work closely with classroom teachers to align music sessions with other curriculum goals when possible.Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.Qualifications:Experience teaching music to young children (ages 0-5) in a school or childcare setting.A background in early childhood music education or related field is preferred.Proficiency in playing musical instruments (e.g. guitar piano percussion) is a plus.Ability to engage and captivate young children through interactive and hands-on activities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and energetic personality.Patience creativity and a passion for working with young children.Schedule:Once per week for 2-3 hours (day and time can be flexible).Compensation:Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
