Job Description SummaryThe Tutor Training Program at Santa Fe College aims to recruit, train, support, and retain qualified personnel to work in concert with faculty and student support staff. The program's ongoing training focuses on creating a culture that encourages continuous improvement for students, tutors, and other staff members.Job DescriptionResponsibilities and DutiesMaintain an atmosphere of collaboration, trust, and respect.Provide consistent individualized tutoring experiences.Provide tutoring in at least one the following areas:Programming (e.g., SQL, HTML, HTML5, C ++, Python, CSS)Computer Information Technology (e.g., Windows & Linux Operating Systems)Networking (e.g., Computer & Networking Essentials)SecurityParticipate in on-going training and evaluation.Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement.Perform other duties as assigned.Reports to: CoordinatorQualificationsRequired: The student tutor must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student, in good academic and behavioral standing, and taking six (6) or more credit hours for each semester of hire.
