Part-Time Field Sales Associate at Sherwin-Williams

DescriptionSales Associates drive top-line sales growth at an assigned Lowes store. This position will be responsible for engaging customers in the Paint and Pro departments generating customer leads implementing effective sales and marketing programs providing exceptional customer service and managing merchandising.Part-Time Sales Associates are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products.The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Lowes Store #519 located at: 3313 N Fourth St Longview TX 75605. This is a part-time position working weekdays/afternoons/nights/weekends. The schedule is based on business needs and subject to change.Job duties involve contact with customers which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods electronic equipment personal information store merchandise and other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys customers staff employees vendors contractors and the general public.ResponsibilitiesServiceEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceAssist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and servicesBuild productive relationships and trust with wholesale and retail customersMaintain precise work order files and formulasTint and mix products to customer specificationsStock shelves and set up displaysClean store equipmentMaintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areasBuild and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendationsComply with inventory control proceduresTrain Lowes associates on product knowledge and application methodsFacilitate in-person customer transfers from paint to pro deskProvide in-store Pro Desk support for real-time customer needs Lowes Pro Sales and paint program execution including in-store promotional eventsSalesPromote and represent Sherwin-Williams brand standards and product strengths to Lowes associates customers and contractorsProcess sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and proceduresFollow and achieve sales goals on a monthly quarterly and yearly basis Assist Sales Representatives in generating sales leads by contacting customers and maintaining call logsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust be able with or without reasonable accommodation to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionMust be willing to work all scheduled hours which may include evenings and weekends with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:Have at least a High School diploma or GEDHave at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery retail or customer service positionHave previous work experience selling paint and paint related products Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipmentHave a valid unrestricted Drivers licenseAble to read write comprehend and communicate in Spanish#SHWSalesRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Bidding,Apps,Benefits,Corporate Recruitment,Android Development Employment Type : Hourly Experience: years Vacancy: 1
