This is a temporary grant funded position.What you will be doing Manages project records, accounts, reports, and information gathering from and communication with the program consortium partnerOversees the monthly progress of MDC studentsProvides logistical support for the project activities (recruitment, publicity, evaluation, technology development, career development activities, community engagement activities, project reporting and documentation)Handles student complaints and questions, troubleshoots student issues, and handles services and work orders for online servicesReviews flyers of classes and program schedulesAnswers technical questions over the telephone or in personOversees the work of those assigned to assist with grant program criteriaInputs and updates databasesPrepares reports based on data collectedPerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of administrative, project, or grant management experience; or Master's degree with one (1) year of administrative, project, or grant management experienceAll degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionKnowledge of project/ grant management including budget, personnel management and reportingPossess excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Knowledge and expertise in managing web-based projectsKnowledge in designing, creating, and maintaining internet sitesAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions for reporting purposesProficient knowledge and skill in Microsoft Windows applicationsPossess effective interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to interact with customers using tact, poise, patience, and courtesyKnowledge of class offerings and all departments and basic knowledge of College organizationSuperior ability to learn program detailsAbility to follow oral and written instructionsAbility to project a positive image of the College and its programsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well with students, faculty and staffAdditional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
