Participates as a team member in the Student Success Center, and assists tutors with instructional activitiesWhat you will be doing Assists faculty with the planning and development of web-based application tools to assist in the implementation of online coursesAssesses needs of the faculty in terms of their knowledge and experience in using instructional technologyDesigns and implements faculty development activities that support the use of technology in their instructional activitiesWorks with faculty in designing, developing, and evaluating their courses using instructional design principlesWorks with faculty in individual and group sessions to ensure curriculum improvements of targeted coursesRecommends expenditures needed to support faculty development of online coursesPerforms support technology used to create online coursesCollaborates with Campus leadership in gathering information for purchasing equipmentPerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology or related field from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of related work experienceAll degree must be from a regionally accredited institutionKnowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and proceduresPossess excellent instructional design skillsPossess exceptional skills in developing web courses in a web course environmentKnowledge of learning management systems such as Blackboard, HTML, and other web technologiesKnowledge of graphic editing softwareAbility to be a team playerAbility to take initiative and work with minimal supervisionPossess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignmentsAbility to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staffAdditional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
