This individual must demonstrate an advanced level of performing and proficiency as a pianist and accompanist. What you will be doing Accompanies private music lessons and/or classes Coaches and accompanies music students Participates in and accompanies student juries and recitals Accompanies rehearsals and performances Participates in and accompanies auditions Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed Demonstrated experience as a professional musician and/or educational credential in accompanying, and/or at least two (2) years experience in accompanying in the area of interestAbility to work well with students, faculty and staff Must possess excellent organizational skills Experience coaching and accompanying advanced instrumental and vocal students, including in-depth knowledge of repertoire, historical and stylistic expertiseAdditional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
