As a Payment Analyst I or II your role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate processing of various back office operational functions to ensure seamless execution and delivery of consumer and business payment services for WSECU this role youll be providing phone chat and email support to members and coworkers for operational technical and service-related needs. Youll be responsible for handling member and employee inquiries related to payment services while performing accurate and timely execution of department related back-office functions. Youll be providing operational and technical support to internal and external members for ACH check processing Mobile Deposit Bill Pay Peer to Peer P2P Digital Currency Wire Processing and oversight and maintenance related to our core processing system Symitar. Your day may include:Delivering outstanding service and support through responsive and positive interactions with co-workers members and external parties via phone email chat and SharePointActively building relationships with co-workers to foster a collaborative working environment and respond positively to departmental and organizational changesExhibiting a high level of integrity and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive informationContributing to forward thinking initiatives aimed at improving accuracy and efficiency of department and credit union processesEffectively managing high call volumes directly assisting members and credit union business linesPerforming various support and maintenance tasks to ensure effective delivery of department operating functions under the responsibility of the Payments DepartmentParticipating in business line network and user groups upholding credit union standards in the sharing of informationActively pursuing personal and professional development opportunities to support team and business objectivesIdentifying opportunities for process improvement or efficiency in department operations and works with leaders to support implementation efforts when feasibleWhat you bring to the team:For Payments Analyst ICompetitive pay for Payments Analyst I: $20.86 - $31.29 per hour dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive planThe target starting pay for this position is $20.86 - $26.07 per hour typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicants pay history into account.Minimum of two (2) years experience in a financial institution with preference given for experience in a back office operating areaMinimum of two (2) years experience in customer service data and/or transaction analysisComputer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel and WordEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to analyze information and form recommendationsFor Payment Analyst II Competitive pay for Payments Analyst II: $23.29 - $34.94 per hour dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive planThe target starting pay for this position is $23.29 - $29.12 per hour typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicants pay history into account.Minimum of three (3) years experience in a financial institution with preference given for experience in a back office operating areaMinimum of three (3) years experience in customer service data and/or transaction analysisMinimum of three (3) years experience handling escalated and emotionally charged callsComputer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel and WordEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to analyze information and form recommendationsBonus points if you have:Knowledge of the following platforms: Symitar Federal Reserve Centrix Profit Star Image Center FIS Application Enhancer SharePoint Fresh Services Paymentus Vanco**WSECU is currently hiring a Payments Analyst I or II dependent on qualifications**The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.Where were located: 330 Union Ave Olympia WA. Employees must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home.
