Job Description: Part-Time Payroll SpecialistPosition Title: Payroll Specialist (Part-Time)Department: HR / PayrollReports To: Payroll Manager or HR LeadershipHours: Approximately 1520 hours per week (flexible)Location: Hybrid (Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area preferred)Position OverviewThe Part-Time Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple clients across various industries. This role requires strong attention to detail the ability to manage confidential information and comfort working within multiple payroll systems. The ideal candidate has prior payroll experience strong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to assist with projects as workflows shift.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll ProcessingPrepare and process payroll for assigned clients on weekly biweekly or semi-monthly schedulesEnter review and validate timecards earnings deductions reimbursements and adjustmentsVerify payroll accuracy prior to submissionPrepare and review payroll reports for final approvalSystem Navigation & ComplianceWork across multiple payroll systems such as ADP Paycom UKG Paycor Paychex QuickBooks Gusto or other platformsMaintain compliance with federal state and local wage and hour lawsEnsure proper tax withholding and update employee records as neededAssist with quarterly or annual reporting W-2s and other compliance tasksClient & Employee SupportServe as a point of contact for client payroll questions and system navigationAssist employees with payroll-related inquiries (e.g. direct deposit tax forms pay discrepancies)Provide exceptional customer service in a timely and professional mannerAdministrative & Project SupportSupport new client payroll setup and system onboardingHelp streamline processes and improve payroll workflowsAssist with special projects related to payroll audits system transitions or process documentationQualificationsRequired2 years of payroll processing experience (multi-client or multi-state preferred)Strong understanding of payroll laws and payroll administration best practicesHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting functionsExcellent communication and customer service skillsPreferredExperience using multiple payroll platforms (ADP Paycor Paychex Gusto etc.)Experience supporting HR or accounting functionsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple prioritiesWork Environment & SchedulePart-time flexible schedule with remote work availableOccasional peak-week hours may fluctuate depending on client needsCollaborative supportive team environment Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Bidding,Apps,Benefits,Corporate Recruitment,Android Development Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
