This part-time (prn) role as a Pharmacist is based on-site at Louisville Pharmacy in Louisville, KY. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing compounded medications according to physician prescriptions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, providing guidance to patients on medications and supplements, and collaborating with healthcare providers to discuss and recommend treatment options. The role also includes overseeing quality control processes and maintaining patient records accurately.
- Proficiency in compounding techniques, processing prescriptions, and knowledge of pertinent regulatory requirements
- Experience in patient counseling and the ability to provide clear medication guidance
- Strong attention to detail with skills in quality control and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with healthcare practitioners and staff
- Licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of Kentucky (active and in good standing)
- Familiarity with preparing specialty or compounded medications is a plus
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care
