Part Time Radiation-Hardened Electronics SETA, TSSCI at Blue Sky Innovators

LOE required is 0.75 FTE.Description:Candidates with expertise in the design manufacture and testing of radiation-hardened electronics sought to support the program managers with specific focus on technical project management and execution. The successful candidate will assess individual technical and programmatic risks track performer progress relative to plan project anticipated performer outcomes and ensure that project management best practices are followed at performers within the independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities funded by DARPA and within DARPA itself.Requirements:Prior radiation-hardened electronics and government research experience.Knowledge of particle accelerator physics and design circuit materials single-event effects high-energy particle/material interactions radiation-tolerant circuit design and long-term material changes is highly beneficial.Exemplary candidates will also have demonstrated an ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next generation research topicsDesired capabilities and characteristicsDoctorate Masters Degree with three years or Bachelors and five years of relevant experience with radiation-hardened electronicsExperience coordinating with foundries managing workflows and performing failure analysisExperience working with DARPA and coordinating across government teamsWillingness to commute to Ballston VADemonstrated attention to detailExcellent communication skills - both written and oralStrong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requestsFlexible and readily adaptable to changeResponsibilities:Take part in periodic performer assessments to analyze program technical and schedule risks; develop risk mitigation strategies; communicate findings to program managerTechnical evaluations and guidance on reports briefings and other performer communicationsPresentation and report preparationSupport further research solicitation and proposal evaluationsProgram administration including development of technical analyses identification of technology gaps technical risk management project cost estimation technology transfer efforts as well as supporting technical reviews.Attending and organizing program reviews/site visits/field tests.Clearance: U.S. citizenship and Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance is requiredBlue Sky Innovators Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
