Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) at Atlas Search

Compensation: $48–$45 per hour (flexible based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated nutrition professional to join a well-established private medical practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

About the Role

The Registered Dietitian will provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to adult patients in a supportive outpatient setting. You will work closely with physician leadership and interdisciplinary staff to develop comprehensive, evidence-based care plans.

This position reports directly to senior medical leadership and offers autonomy within a structured clinical environment.

Schedule & Flexibility

• Part-time
• Flexible weekday scheduling
• Some Saturday hours preferred
• Some evening availability preferred
• Occasional travel (approximately once per month) to additional NYC/Long Island locations for educational presentations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one medical nutrition therapy (in-person and telehealth)
• Develop individualized nutrition intervention plans using evidence-based guidelines
• Counsel patients managing diabetes, prediabetes, and cardiometabolic conditions
• Deliver patient education on preventive health, weight management, and chronic disease
• Document visits thoroughly using EMR and standardized nutrition care processes
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on integrated care plans
• Lead occasional group workshops or wellness presentations

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential (required)
• New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN)
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience
• Experience using telehealth platforms
• Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to groups
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
