Job DescriptionThe Addiction Recovery Research Center (ARRC) a research center at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC in Roanoke VA that is dedicated to understanding and treating substance use disorders is looking for new part time Research Analyst to work primarily on research projects examining long-term recovery from addiction as well as decision-making processes and interventions relevant to substance use including tobacco alcohol and cocaine use. Typically a Research Analyst supports a research team in the performance of various regulatory data management and analyses activities for research programs. This role will serve as part of the research team working collaboratively and independently to analyze interpret and disseminate data for funded research projects. Research support responsibilities range from entry- to advanced-level.Lab Website: The duties of this role will include though may not be limited to the following: Making significant contributions to the projects assigned. Data management and analysis. Maintaining accurate and confidential records. Conducting literature searches to gather background information.
