What you will be doing Provides sign language interpretation services for classroom lectures, related classroom activities, tutoring sessions, advisement and financial aid meetings and other College activities Maintains records for assigned students Assists with schedules and agendas for the Deaf Services Program Performs other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Non-certified with related years of experience in field OR QA1 OR EIPA Certification 1.0 and over with related years of experience.Experience as a college level interpreterPossess excellent oral and written communication skillsPossess detail-oriented and highly organized skillsPossess strong interpersonal and decision-making skillsProficiency in Microsoft applicationsAbility to work well with students, faculty and staff Additional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
