Part-Time Speech Therapist at The Lark Center, inc

$65-$75/hour!

The Lark Center is seeking a passionate and affirming speech therapist for a part-time role (with flexibility to grow to full-time for an interested candidate) to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The right candidate will be:

• flexible to work with a wide variety of ages and diagnoses
• eager to share ideas and passions
• unhappy with traditional service delivery models (schools, hospitals, etc.)
• a lifelong learner

Responsibilities include:

• deliver neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based therapy in the context of individual, small group, and co-treatment sessions
• provide education and consultation to caregivers and other service providers
• participate in multidisciplinary intakes, evaluations, and programs as needed
• contribute to multidisciplinary curriculum planning and materials creation
• produce documentation for sessions, intakes, treatment plans and progress reports in a timely, accurate, and affirming manner
• attend all relevant staff meetings, department meetings, and professional development opportunities
• maintain licensure and adhere to professional practice standards

Qualifications include:

• licensure to practice speech and language pathology independently in Massachusetts
• at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• reliable ability to travel to Norwood, MA and see clients in person
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• experience with AAC, GLP, social pragmatics, executive functioning, and/or feeding therapy a plus
