Part-Time Tax Preparer at Larry J. Herring, CPA, PA

Our busy, well established CPA firm located in Maitland, FL is now hiring for a part-time on-site experienced Tax Preparer. This position can be either seasonal or permanent part-time. In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting individual and corporate tax returns, reviewing financial statements, analyzing tax laws and ensuring compliance, and advising clients on tax-related matters. This role also involves conducting financial evaluations and providing tax-related insights to support client inquiries. Qualifications Proficiency in Tax Preparation, with experience in preparing and filing various types of federal and state individual and corporate tax returns Strong knowledge of Tax Law and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance across various contexts Experience in reviewing and preparing Financial Statement and conducting financial analysis Understanding of Finance principles and concepts relevant to tax operations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in using tax preparation software and general office tools CPA certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required Experience with tax preparation services in public accounting or a similar environment is preferred
