Parts Counterperson

Jim Taylor Auto Group is looking for a full-time Parts Counterperson to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, helpful, and ready to support both technicians and customers with accuracy and professionalism.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and making sure the right parts get to the right place at the right time. The right candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to strong internal and external customer service.

Qualifications

  • Parts experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians and customers with parts lookup and ordering
  • Provide accurate and timely parts support for the service department
  • Maintain organized inventory and parts records
  • Receive, stock, and track parts as needed
  • Communicate clearly regarding availability, delays, and special orders
  • Help ensure the parts department operates efficiently and professionally
  • Support internal teamwork and customer satisfaction through reliable service
