Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Parts Inventory Clerk Driver

The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Parts Inventory Clerk Driver must perform the daily delivery of spare parts to our customers with care and efficiency. The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Parts Inventory Clerk Driver must consistently provide outstanding brand and customer experience throughout the performance of their duties and responsibilities.

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before delivery to ensure that orders are correct and complete.
• Verifying orders after delivery to ensure the orders are correct and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered items, signed purchase order or delivered goods receipts.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling customer complaints.
• In some cases may require some technical knowledge and ability to demonstrate or sell parts.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Organizing and preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and vehicle.
• Attention to detail, sense of urgency and results driven.
• Willingness and ability to work in a positive, high-energy team oriented environment

The pay rate for this position is between $20 - $22 per hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.

Must have 1+ years of Parts Driving experience with inventory management

Must be able to work Saturdays and holiday, if necessary

Be able to withstand physical demands of the job

Must have a valid Driver's License

Must be able to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.
