Job Description
A Pastry Cook transforms high-quality ingredients into delicious Italian pastries in accordance with Eatalys recipes. Reports to the Pastry Sous Chef and the Pastry Chef.Prepares pastries tiramisu cannoli cookies croissants gelato and other Italian dessertsFollows recipes and complies with portion sizes quality standards department rules and procedures and Department of Health regulationsWashes and cleans all utensils preparation equipment and counters required for productionPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications : 1 years in a pastry preparation positionBasic math and measuring skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferredJob RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekendsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squattingAbility to use a burning oven commercial stand mixer and other pastry baking equipmentCompensation: This position pays a base rate of $19-$22 per hour Additional Information : Benefits and PerksMedical Dental Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!Eataly is an equal employment opportunity employer.
