Patent Litigation Associate at Mintex Technology

Job description: Role Summary Our client is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3 years of patent litigation experience and a strong technical or life sciences background. The associate will take an active role in preparing and trying patent cases conducting technical analyses managing discovery working with expert witnesses drafting pleadings and participating in depositions. This role can sit in any client IP litigation hub including California Massachusetts New York and Washington D.C. Core Responsibilities: Prepare and litigate patent cases in district courts and the ITC Participate in Markman hearings summary judgment briefing and trial preparation Conduct technical analyses of products patents and prior art Manage and participate in complex discovery processes Work with technical and scientific expert witnesses Conduct and defend depositions Draft motions pleadings and litigation briefs Collaborate across offices and practice groups under the firms 60% onsite guideline Must-Have Qualifications: COVER LETTER REQUIRED JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Admitted to practice in CA MA NY or Washington D.C. 3 years of patent litigation experience (district court or ITC) Technical background in electrical engineering computer science or a related field OR Life sciences background in biology immunology biochemistry or a related discipline Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization attention to detail and issue-spotting skills Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments Professional client communication and engagement skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing significant discovery volumes Exposure to expert witness work Experience handling or supporting trial teams Key Skills Lpc,Internal Control,Academics,Biotechnology,CRM,Banking Sales Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
