Pride Health is hiring a Patient Intake Representative to support our client’s medical facility in following cities, Auburn, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Huntington & Warsaw, IN. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Patient Intake Representative to join a leading healthcare diagnostics organization. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the healthcare industry while working in a patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and welcome patients upon arrival
• Assist patients with registration and check-in procedures
• Enter patient demographic and billing information accurately
• Verify insurance coverage and collect patient payments
• Collect and prepare specimens for testing and analysis when required
• Contact physician offices to verify and confirm test orders
• Monitor and document patient wait times
• Address patient concerns and escalate issues to management as needed
• Educate patients about available laboratory services
• Maintain office supply inventory
• Assist with opening and closing office procedures
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Location: Auburn, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Huntington & Warsaw
• Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
• Pay Range: $17 - $20 hourly
• Shifts: Regular Shift Mon – Fri
