Patient Account Representative - Physician & Hospital Claims at Guidehouse
JOB DESCRIPTION
Patient Account Representative
The PAR assists in overseeing the daily operations of assigned project(s). This position is responsible for providing support in developing, implementing, managing, and meeting or exceeding the operational goals of our clients and Company. The PAR will and may work closely with their team, project supervisors, operations managers, and the client to work on opportunities with new and emerging approaches to our clients' business processes. This position will follow and ensure that client and company policies and procedures are followed and will also perform all job-related duties as assigned.
This position offers an attractive hybrid schedule working two days in our Mitchell, SD, Lewisville, TX or El Segundo, CA offices and three days virtually from home. 8 hour shift between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT.
Supporting of staff / supervisor to be successful and work as a team
Feedback, and other trainings as necessary
Ability to work with leads to develop policies and procedures, as needed
Monitor and ensure compliance with company and client standards
Strong understanding of all software/systems used
Identify, validate, and report project trends / issues
Updating of spreadsheets, monitoring outstanding items for each client, and providing updates to leadership, client, and team
All job-related duties as assigned
High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of Relevant Equivalent Experience in Lieu of Diploma / GED.
1-3+ year's experience in office, business, operations, customer service or healthcare field.

Office Suite experience
Billing / Collections experience
The annual salary range for this position is $35,000.00-$58,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
