Patient Care Assistant Urgent Care Marysville (Contingent) at Nationwide Children's Hospital

Overview:16 hrs/month minimum contingent.Base pay $19/hr plus applicable shift differentials. Not eligible for benefits.Job Description Summary:Performs basic supportive care to specified patients and families under the direction and supervision of an RN or Care Manager. Collects documents and reports data to the RN or Care Manager.Job Description:Essential Functions:Collects documents and reports vital signs. May complete screening questions and documentation or minor specimen testing as assigned.Promotes general patient safety. Holds and positions patients and assists with procedures. Prepares materials and supplies as delegated.Remains compliant with HIPAA maintains professionalism and ensures confidentiality of patient information.Ensures environmental standards are met and all unit and patient areas are stocked cleaned and maintained.Performs clerical and administrative tasks as necessary.Identifies learning needs completes continuing education and participates in offered educational opportunities.
