Patient Care Extern at Woburn Hospital

Summary Goshen Hospitals Patient Care Extern program is atenweek summer schedule designed to be an extension of a nursing students formal education. Students have the opportunity to take part in the continuity of patient care nursing staffing patterns and nurse-to-patient ratios. A Registered Nurse preceptor oversees the nursing student and provides professional clinical guidance during the program. The programwill run from June 1st - August 8th.Eligibility RequirementsStudent must currently be enrolled in good standing in an accredited nursing program.Successful completion of third year of nursing school.Able to work 36-40 hours a week for the summer.Be CPR certified.Must complete Patient Care Externship packet.
