Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECH- CHILD INPATIENT Gracepoint seeks compassionate and empathetic qualified candidates who want to make a difference within our organization. JOB OVERVIEW  Provides direct, compassionate, and empathetic care to individuals served with behavioral health needs which include observing and monitoring individuals’ served behavior; supporting individuals served with activities within the program; supporting other staff to ensure individuals served participate in prescribed treatment and activities, leading activity groups and community meetings, admitting and orienting individuals served to the program and assuring all program tasks are completed properly. EMPLOYMENT ENVIRONMENT AND TASKS: A secure facility that provides an inpatient treatment program for those experiencing a mental health emergency needing 24-hour care in a safe supportive environment.Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone.May be required to stand for an extended period and/or for the entire work shift.Maintains confidentiality and remains calm under stressful situations.Managing and organizing the continuous workflow of the unit and workspace including the cleanliness of the environment.Inpatient behavioral health care setting. Fast-paced team approach. Multi-tasking. Requires above-average time management skills. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a High school Diploma or GEDMust be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs of dead weightMust have excellent interpersonal skills Open Shifts: 8:00 am-4:30pm, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM, 12:00 AM- 8:30 Full-time or PRN employment OpportunitiesPRN staff must pick up at least 2 shifts a week plus a weekend.
