Responsible for leading a group of individuals through patio door production. Friendly atmosphereResponsibilitiesAssign production associates with line tasks.Setting up the production line accordingly.Operates various machines and fills in where needed to ensure production goals for the departmentOptimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity quality and safety.Production targets being met without compromising on quality or safety.Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.Training and supervising new production line workers.Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.Maintaining a fully operational safe and tidy work environment.Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Perform duties in a manner that ensures Vinylmax will continue to operate in a clean safe and efficient manner.Performing recordkeeping tasks as needed.Coaching and develop their team where needed.Other duties as assigned by the production manager.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experienceA minimum of three years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment overseeing a team of 5-15 associates.Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations written communication and reading comprehension as these are essential for the successful completion of required paperwork and projects.Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plusWork EnvironmentMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time.1st shift schedule is 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) Friday OT as needed.Schedule includes one 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks Key Skills Quality Analysis,Facility,ISO,Inventory Levels,Root cause Analysis,Shift operations,General Maintenance,Daily Operations,Supervision,Analysis,PLC,Safety Standards,Quality Standards,Time management skills,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
