Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPayment Poster LHH is looking for a dedicated and reliable Medical Payment Poster to join their Revenue Cycle team. This position is onsite and responsible for accurately posting payments, denials, adjustments, and refunds across multiple payer types. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic accounting/math skills, and experience working in medical office or billing environments. Key Responsibilities:Post payment batches, denials, adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and recoveriesVerify payer information and apply correct payment codesProcess credit card payments and ensure accuracy before postingPost NSF and chargeback transactionsMeet monthly deadlines and posting accuracy standardsEnsure all work complies with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelinesCommunicate professionally with internal teams, payers, and vendorsAssist with additional billing and RCM support duties as neededPerformance Requirements:1-3 years of experience in a medical office or billing environment preferredKnowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing is a plusStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDependability, professionalism, and excellent communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamEducation Requirement: High school diploma or GED. Details:Where: Onsite in Richmond, VA 23226Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PMPosition Type: Temp to hirePay: $19 - 20/hr depending on experienceBenefits: Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
