Join the journey. Shape the future of auto repair.What Youll DoThe Payments Development Representative is responsible for driving adoption of Tekmetric Payments within our existing customer base. This role focuses exclusively on engaging current Tekmetric users who have not yet activated our integrated payments experience. You will contact shops share the operational value of switching to integrated payments qualify interest and book attended demos with our Payments Specialists.You will manage a list-based outbound motion and work closely with the Payments team to prioritize accounts based on usage and readiness signals. This role requires a strong understanding of merchant services excellent customer empathy and the ability to operate in a new and evolving sales motion. Success will come from delivering high quality customer interactions and driving consistent attended demos that support expansion revenue.Key Responsibilities:Contact existing Tekmetric customers to educate them on the integrated payments experience and drive demo attendanceManage a high volume of outbound calls and Outreach sequences using a prioritized list provided by Payments leadershipBook attended demos with Payments Specialists and ensure clear accurate handoffsMaintain clean and detailed records in Salesforce for every account touchSupport the customer journey by following structured outreach reminders and follow upsProvide insights from conversations to improve targeting messaging and activation workflowsCollaborate daily with Payments Specialists Fintech leadership Demand Gen and Sales DevelopmentEnsure every customer receives a positive and consistent Tekmetric experienceAssist with onboarding coordination for shops that self sign up for integrated paymentsWhat Youll BringMinimum of 2 years experience in payments sales merchant services or sales developmentStrong understanding of outbound sales motions in a quota environmentProven ability to handle objections with shop owners and decision makersExcellent communication skills with a customer first mindsetStrong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume book of businessExperience using Salesforce or equivalent CRMAbility to collaborate cross functionally with Sales Operations and FintechPreferred QualificationsExperience selling or supporting merchant services or fintech solutionsAbility to read and understand merchant statementsExperience calling into an existing customer baseWhat Success Looks Like75 outbound dials dailyConsistent delivery of attended demo targetsStrong conversion from conversation to scheduled demoClean Salesforce data and complete Outreach sequence adherencePositive feedback from Payments Specialists on handoff qualityDemonstrated ability to engage customers with empathy and accuracyThe Tekmetric WayAt Tekmetric were building a culture where winning matters - not for ego but because when our customers win we win together.We move fast as a team remain curious and take full ownership of our results - no excuses no finger-pointing.If you thrive in ambiguity take initiative and value honest feedback as a tool for growth youll feel right at home here.
