Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role requires an experienced individual with strong attention to detail who can efficiently manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This company offers a HYBRID schedule for local employees - 2 remote days offered weekly.Responsibilities:• Process and manage bi-monthly payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.• Handle full-cycle payroll tasks, including calculations, deductions, and distributions.• Maintain and update payroll records to ensure compliance with legal and company policies.• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.• Generate reports and analyze payroll data to support decision-making processes.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Assist in audits and reviews related to payroll operations.• Identify opportunities for improving payroll processes and implementing best practices.• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration.• Proficiency in managing bi-monthly payroll cycles.• Hands-on experience with full-cycle payroll processes.• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.• Experience with payroll software and systems.• Analytical skills to interpret payroll data and address discrepancies.
