JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processing, expense reporting, and travel coordination. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution, adherence to deadlines, and smooth support of employee travel logistics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly organized, deadline-driven, and service-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Ensure all payroll deadlines are met without exception
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records (hours, deductions, benefits)
  • Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Expense Management

  • Review, process, and reconcile employee expense reports
  • Ensure expenses comply with company policies
  • Track reimbursements and coordinate timely payments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records

Travel Logistics Support

  • Coordinate employee travel arrangements (flights, hotels, transportation)
  • Monitor travel budgets and cost efficiency
  • Assist employees with itinerary changes and travel-related issues
  • Ensure all travel details are documented and communicated effectively

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll, payroll administration, or accounting support
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage high-volume tasks
  • Experience processing payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-state payroll processing
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements
  • Prior experience supporting expense management and travel coordination

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
