DescriptionJPMC is looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to process the final payment of wages for terminated employees. As a Payroll Analyst within our team you will focus on compliance of state regulations for the final payment of wages due to an employee upon termination utilizing Oracle HCM and Microsoft Excel. This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills the ability to pay attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. This individual will provide quality payroll support and case management services to former employees and key stakeholders.Job responsibilitiesCalculate final payment of wages for terminated employees and make timely payment based on state regulationsManage cases perform in-depth research identify resources for providing information follow through to obtain information and resolve cases efficiently and thoroughlyIdentify opportunities for process improvement for the final pay processDocument process flow and detailed step instructionsCommunicate with HR Business Partners and other teams within the companyParticipate in various test activities as neededComplete ad hoc requests as neededRequired Qualifications Capabilities and SkillsAssociate or bachelors degree 3 years of experience in a Payroll DepartmentExperience with final payment of wagesExcellent collaboration and teamwork skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical thinker and ability to work independentlyAdvanced Excel knowledgeStrong troubleshooting skills and experienceAbility to work in a fast paced and deadline driven work environmentPreferred Qualifications Capabilities and SkillsPayroll certification FPC or CPPOracle HCM payroll experiencePEGA software experienceMulti-state payroll experienceProcess improvement experienceRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Data Entry,Paychex,QuickBooks,Accounting,10 Key Calculator,Paylocity,Microsoft Excel,Payroll,ADP,Administrative Experience,Human Resources,Bookkeeping Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
