Pay Range:$19.00 - $21.00 / HourOur Perks:Generous PTO plans sick pay and health benefitsAnnual bonus based on employment standing*Work from home and hybrid model employmentConfie Enablement Fund/ Scholarship ProgramI-Care Recognition ProgramCorporate Social Responsibility ProgramDiversity Equity and Inclusion InitiativesConfie Hub and Discount Programs (Gym Membership)PurposeAccountable for collecting timekeeping information incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll and issuing pay and pay-related information to employeesEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintains payroll information by collecting calculating and entering dataMaintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidentialMaintains payroll operations by following polices and procedures; reporting needed changesContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededProvides payroll information by answering questions and requestsCollect and summarize timekeeping informationCalculate commissionsProcess garnishment requestsProcess and close periodic payrollsPrint and issue paychecksProcess direct deposit paymentsProcess pay card paymentsQualifications & Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAttention to detail1 - 2 years of experience in Human Resources/payroll processing and working with relevant software systems; UltiPro preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office.Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.Preferred SkillsInsurance industry experienceMulti-state payroll experienceExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Abillity to work in a team oriented environmentKnowledge of wage withholding orders and garnishmentsStrong numerical skillsMust possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in an environment of stress with specific deadlinesOther DutiesThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
