Payroll Support Clerk – Payroll & TaxLocation: Lake Mary, FL Work Model: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, ThursdayTargeted Experience: 3–5 yearsRole OverviewThis role supports payroll and tax operations and has a direct impact on reported financial results while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external legislation. The Administrative Support Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and timely resolution of local tax notices for both regulated and non-regulated entities and will work closely with third-party tax providers on account updates and reconciliations.Key ResponsibilitiesResolve inquiries from tax agencies related to local withholding taxesAnalyze local tax data and collaborate with internal finance teams to ensure timely issue resolutionWork with third-party tax providers to maintain accurate account setupsEnsure synchronization between the system of record and third-party tax applicationsPerform data analysis, account maintenance, and tax reconciliationsSupport processing of Cash-Settled Stock Together payoutsProcess corrected W-2 forms (W-2C) requestsManage and complete Monthly EVS reportingEducation / CertificationsBachelor’s Degree (required)Mandatory – Must Have Skills(Top required skills with experience expectations)Multi-State & Local Tax Experience3+ years of experience handling multi-state and local payroll taxesTax Agency & Jurisdiction CoordinationExperience working directly with state and local jurisdictions for tax account setup and updatesThird-Party Tax ApplicationsHands-on experience navigating third-party tax tools (e.g., ADP CIC)HRMS & Payroll SystemsExperience with payroll processing and HRMS systems; PeopleSoft and/or Workday preferredExcel ProficiencyIntermediate Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliations, reporting)Nice to HaveUnderstanding of end-to-end Payroll processes and Payroll Tax integrationsStrong verbal and written customer service skillsExcellent organizational, time management, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environmentFlexibility in scheduling to meet processing demandsWhat you didn’t know about us:Competitive salaryHealth, Dental and Vision BenefitsShort/Long Term Disability and Critical Care/Illness ProtectionLife Insurance and Retirement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramWith this position, you will get the opportunity to work with our game changing clients and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!We are Connectors.
