The applicant will start as a patient care tech and work in the department as they complete the Sanford sponsored MedCerts Medical Assistant training program. In this role you will work side by side the pediatric endocrinology providers nurses and support staff to provide personalized care for our patients. Our Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic cares for patients with diabetes growth concerns as well as a variety of other endocrinology addition our staff along with our pediatric endocrinology providers go to several outreach clinics throughout the region allowing for increased access to the specialized care that is essential to their health and wellness. This is a great opportunity to work in a clinic setting with a variety of patients! We are open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm no weekends or holidays. Experience in a clinic setting preferred. Knowledge of healthcare anatomy physiology medical terminology and medical equipment/supplies preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
