PEAK Audio Visual Specialist at The University of Oklahoma

This position is being filled through OUs PEAK Temporary Staffing Services.EMBA at the Price College of Business needs someone who is confident with classroom technology videoconference set up and can comfortably work/interface with senior executives from the energy industry.This assignment lasts from January 5th though January 12th.Duties includeHelp instructors access their presentation materials set up the classroom prior to the start of each course.Classes begin at 7:30am each morning.Assist students (who are also industry professionals) one on one with technical questions regarding their laptops wifi access login issues etcSet up and support video conferences for guest speakers as well as for Board meeting on January 9.Stay on call and nearby as classes run to provide technical support as needed. Can work with PCB IT staff for guidance but they do not have the time to commit to helpRequired AttachmentsDocuments required for this position are listed under the Required Attachments section of this job listing. You will be required to upload and attach these documents in the application process.Important: ALL required documents must be attached to your job application or your documents will not be visible to the hiring department!Required:Bachelors degree; AND:24 months of experience in audio-visual troubleshooting support installation engineering or system design.Equivalency/Substitution:Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 72 months related experience.Certifications or Licenses:Valid Drivers License to drive OU vehicles.Required Knowledge Skills Abilities:Ability to speak read and write clear concise EnglishStrong written and oral communicationExcellent time management organization skillsExperience in scheduling and conducting meetingsHighly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlinesDetail orientedCustomer service experience.Basic knowledge of enterprise technologies such as networks storage identity management cloud services security Windows OS Mac OS desktop solutions Microsoft Office suite etc.Familiarity with video conferencing solutions and with emerging technologiesContributes to continual improvementWorking Conditions:Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to climb crouch bend or stoop. Ability to engage in repetitive motions. Ability to perform overhead-work and work in confined spaces.
