DescriptionWe are seeking aPediatric Endocrinologist for a faculty position in our pediatric endocrinology division!Successful applicants will be energetic BE/BC pediatric endocrinologists interested in providing care to children with endocrine disorders and diabetes. Applicants should have a strong interest in diabetes care and multidisciplinary collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician-educator to advance their career within an academic medical center.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:providing expert evidence-based outpatient and inpatient clinical care forpediatric endocrinologypatientscollaborating with the endocrine team which consists of clinic nurses diabetes educators dietitians social workers and other healthcare professionals to build a multidisciplinary diabetes programparticipate in educational initiatives for medical students residents and fellows inpediatric endocrinology.Our present team includes 8 faculty 3 fellows 2 APPs who specialize in pediatric endocrinology and nurses as well as a dedicated social worker and nutritionist.This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician-educator to advance their career within an academic medical center.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited program.Successful completion of a 3-year Pediatric ACGME-approved residency program and a 3-year Pediatric ACGME-approved fellowship program.New York State Medical License (or eligible).Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.Meet eligibility requirements for an appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.Experience with diabetes technology.Compensation range from 180K to 215K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)Salary Disclosure Information:Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
