We are seeking a dedicated LocumsPediatric Hospitalist Physician to provide comprehensive pediatric and newborncare in Grass Valley, CA. This role involves 24-hour shifts with weekendcoverage and 24/7 on-call responsibilities. You will support the Family BirthCenter, Emergency Department, and inpatient pediatric services. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily newborn rounding in the Family Birth Center Provide coverage for newborn and delivery needs Conduct ED consultations for pediatric patients Admit pediatric patients from the ED to the inpatient unit (rare occurrence) Perform neonatal resuscitations and assist with pediatric resuscitations in the ED and inpatient setting, including airway management, venous access, and related procedures Schedule: 24-hour shifts Weekend shifts required 24/7 on-call responsibilities Setting: Family Birth Center (L&D, Nursery) Emergency Department Inpatient Pediatrics Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Pediatrics Active California medical license Active DEA Proficiency in neonatal resuscitations and pediatric emergency procedures Grass Valley is a charming Sierra Nevada foothill community known for itshistoric downtown, natural beauty, and welcoming atmosphere.
