Pediatric Hospitalist physician job in Virginia : TeamHealth is seeking a full-time pediatric hospitalist physician to join our established program at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible pediatric or internal medicine/pediatrics physicians looking for a balanced schedule, strong support, and a collegial practice environment.

Position Overview

• Full-time: 14 shifts per month
• Flexible schedule 
• Single clinician coverage (day and night)

Program Details

• Hospital: 466-bed acute care facility
• Pediatric unit: 17 beds
• PICU: 8 beds
• Average census: days around 12; nights around 6
• Pediatric hospitalists respond to neonatal codes
• EMR: Meditech
• Certifications required: BLS, PALS, NRP
• TeamHealth provides emergency medicine, adult hospital medicine, and pediatric hospital medicine services at the facility
