Cook Children’s Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician to join our established 8-member Infectious Diseases group consisting of six pediatric infectious diseases physicians and two nurse practitioners. Our team delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases services with a strong emphasis on collaboration, continuity of care, and clinical excellence.About the Opportunity:Our group provides a wide range of infectious diseases management, including:Inpatient and outpatient consultationCare for hospitalized patients across multiple specialty units, including:Pediatric ICUNeuro ICUCardiac ICUNeonatal ICUManagement of infectious complications in bone marrow and renal transplant patientsBroad outpatient services, including:Hospital follow-upEvaluation of new outpatient infectionsOngoing care for patients with chronic infections such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIVOur team values collaboration and shared decision-making. Our providers meet three mornings per week to review all patients on service, ensuring seamless continuity of care and collective input on complex cases.
