We are searching for candidates who are board certified/eligible in pediatric critical care to join our current team of 5 intensivists. Rocky Mountain Children's is supported by a 24-hour pediatric ER, 45-bed pediatric floor with in-house hospitalist coverage and an 84-bed level 4 NICU. We are further supported by a comprehensive pediatric sub-specialist team, a growing congenital heart center, and an established ECMO program. We are a level IV trauma center. Position OverviewSupport a Growing PICU Program: Join a multidisciplinary team driving the expansion of pediatric critical care services to serve patients from Colorado and surrounding states. Our 20-bed PICU is currently functionally divided to serve both cardiac and general PICU patients. Currently, our team is helping support the congenital heart program with the goal of having dedicated independent CICU coverage within the next year. Plans are in place to add additional infrastructure and capacity to align with our growing volumes.Balanced Schedule: Enjoy a flexible schedule with 10-14-hour in-house shifts and balanced night and weekend coverage offering a stimulating and sustainable work environment.Comprehensive Services: We offer a wide range of services including the management of patients requiring advanced airway support, CRRT, and medical ECMO.Culture of Collaboration and Quality: We are looking for a team-oriented physician who values clinical excellence and enjoys working in a collegial, forward-thinking environment.
