Location:Dodson Medical Office BuildingDepartment:NephrologyShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:10Summary:Cook Childrens based in Fort Worth Texas is seeking a pediatric nephrologist interested in providing ongoing PRN coverage with our pediatric nephrology department.About our team:We have active kidney transplant hemodialysis peritoneal dialysis CRRT Aquadex ECMO and plasma exchange programs.We have an 8-chair outpatient hemodialysis center as well as full support staff including urologists transplant surgeons interventional radiology nurses social workers dieticians child life specialists and an innovative pet therapy program.Our service area includes most of North and West Texas as well as portions of Oklahoma and New Mexico through our main campus in Fort Worth medical center in Prosper nine satellite clinic locations and an active telemedicine program.About Opportunity:Minimum of 7 days per month of coverageMix of inpatient and outpatient is availableOnsite coverage would include outpatient and inpatient services in Fort Worth at our Dodson Specialty Clinic and Cook Childrens Medical CenterCurrent nephrology team would always be available for back upPhysician would be employed PRN through Cook Childrens Physician Network (CCPN) and covered under our malpractice insuranceTravel and housing covered if not localMinimum QualificationsSuccessful candidates will have completed an accredited pediatric specialty training program and be board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.Must have an unrestricted Texas Medical License and non-institutional DEA.Knowing that every childs life is sacred it is the promise of Cook Childrens to improve the health of every child in our region through the prevention and treatment of illness disease and injury.Cook Childrens Health Care System is one of the countrys leading free standing integrated pediatric health care systems.
